BLOWHARDS consists of three satirical 20-minute plays that focus on social issues. Each of the plays takes a humourous view on Colombo society at large and their responses and actions towards a particular subject. 

‘Tea/Coffee’ looks at armchair activism, ‘Eco-Warriors’ on environmental issues and ‘The Corn’ on political discourse within a family. All three look at social conventions and our own self-image and how they form our opinions and the stances we take on topical issues, the production harpoons the facile and facetious in us all.
