Tracy Holsinger - Artistic Director

Tracy is an award-winning director and teacher and a founding member of Mind Adventures. She is a graduate in Drama and Theatre Arts, Goldsmiths College, University of London and is a Drama Examiner for Trinity College, London (UK). Tracy is the recipient of the BUNKA Award for Special Achievement in Theatre and the Sunethra Bandaranaike Trust grant for new theatre-making, amongst other awards. She has worked in several capacities both in Sri Lanka and the UK for companies such as Stoll Moss Theatres, Adventures In Motion Pictures, BBC Radio 4, Stages Theatre Group, Joint Effort, StageLight&Magic Inc, The Workshop Players, The Performing Arts Company and the Jana Karaliya Troupe. Over the years, she has taught Drama and Theatre for IB Diploma Theatre, Edexcel A Level Theatre, Cambridge IGCSE Drama, and has also worked as a visiting lecturer in Theatre at universities and secondary schools in Sri Lanka. Tracy served as curator of the Children’s Programme of the Galle Literary Festival from 2017 - 2019.

Andre Howson - Associate Artistic Director

Andre is an actor, and a writer. He has performed on stage with Mind Adventures, The Workshop Players, Stagelight & Magic, and Ananda Drama. With Mind Adventures, Andre has worked on original devised theatre, physical theatre, and Forum Theatre. Andre currently works as a Creative Director, voice-over artist, and presenter, leading projects ranging from documentaries to commercial productions.

Jonathan Anthony - Company Manager

Jonathan is a singer/songwriter and self-taught musician from Colombo. He holds a graduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire and has worked in stage management on a number of local theater productions over the last few years. His work with Mind Adventures includes working backstage on our forum play 'Consent and Complicity', and running Front of House on 'Strangers in the Night'.

Associated Artists

Arun Welandawe-Prematilleke is an actor, writer and director, and a graduate in Drama and Theatre Arts, Goldsmiths College, London. Arun specializes in Immersive Theatre and has directed numerous Mind Adventures’ productions from 2013-2017. He has worked in London with several devised and immersive performance companies, such as Frantic Assembly, You Me Bum Bum Train and Retz. Arun currently lectures on film at the Academy of Design in Colombo, and is a founding member of the Hot Butter Collective, an artist collective, and Scout, a logistical management company for filming in Sri Lanka.


Tehani Chitty is an actor and dramatherapist. She is a graduate in Drama and Movement Therapy, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Tehani is also registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists. Alongside her performances with Mind Adventures, Tehani has also performed with Stages Theatre Group, Joint Effort Company, Floating Space and StageLight&Magic Inc. She currently practices as a therapist and designs and facilitates workshops on community building and intra-personal reflection. Her client groups include children with emotional and behavioral difficulties, adults with anxiety and those who have experienced trauma. 

Ruvin de Silva is an actor, director, photographer and a graduate of the Academy of Design, Colombo. He has directed Mind Adventures’ devised youth outreach projects for organizations such as The Galle Literary Festival, The Clarendon Children’s Home and The Warehouse Project. In addition to his work with Mind Adventures, Ruvin has also performed for BBC Radio 4, Joint Effort and Floating Space. He has also acted in numerous films including Kyentse Norbu’s ‘Vara: A Blessing’ and ‘Elephant’ by Rehan Muddanayake.

Lihan Mendis is an educator and theatre practitioner, and the former Company Manager of Mind Adventures Theatre Company. He has performed on stage since 2016 with Mind Adventures, The Workshop Players, The Grassrooted Trust and the Combined Theatre Company. On-screen performances include appearances in short films by Life Broadcasting Pictures and Tuk Tuk Films. He was also featured in a minor role for Series 3 of ITV’s ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ in 2018 and has lent his voice to numerous radio commercials since 2016.

Vindhya Fernando is an actor and director. She received her BA in Theatre and Sociology in 2014 from Suffolk University, Boston. She received her training in performance and has also directed and stage-managed productions whilst working for Company One Theatre and Central Square Theatre in the US. She is also a classically trained singer and holds an Associate Diploma for singing (ATCL) from Trinity College London.
